Purposes / Legal basis for processing personal data

NUMERYX TECHNOLOGIES processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  1. B2B commercial prospecting ;
  2. management of customer areas on the Site,
  3. identification and authentication of the Site user (customer area manager)
  4. sending of commercial information and/or notifications and/or requested documents, distribution of content ;
  5. management and follow-up of commercial relations with our prospects and/or customers and/or partners (B2B), including enrichment/updating of customer/prospect databases;
  6. technical and/or commercial assistance ;
  7. securing the Site and preventing fraud ;
  8. identification of visitors (via cookies) ;
  9. statistics, analyses and audience surveys (via cookies);
  10. service improvement (via cookies).

The legal bases for such processing are as follows (according to Article 6 of the European Data Protection Regulation – GDPR):

  • the processing is necessary for the execution of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (this concerns: creation and management of the customer area, collection of supporting documents when necessary, sending of notifications) or for the execution of the contract between you and NUMERYX (namely: execution of your Firewall order, management of the generation and delivery of the Firewall, payment, invoicing);
  • for processing from 1 to 7: the legitimate interest of NUMERYX TECHNOLOGIES (cf. article 6.1.f) of the RGPD) insofar as these operations contribute to the promotion of our products and services, the management of our commercial relations and the technical management of the Site;
  • for processing 8 to 9: your consent (cf. article 6.1.a) of the RGPD) which you can express by accepting or refusing the cookies concerned, or NUMERYX TECHNOLOGIES’ legitimate interest (cf. article 6.1f) of the RGPD) for functional and/or consent-exempt cookies.

Categories of personal data / Collection

Your personal data processed by NUMERYX TECHNOLOGIES fall into the following categories:

  • identification data (surname, first name, telephone number, e-mail address, etc.);
  • professional data (job title, company, telephone number, e-mail address, professional interests; also for recruitment purposes: level of experience, education, languages, CV, etc.);
  • connection and/or navigation data ;
  • your connection data (identifiers, logs),
  • data concerning your orders,
  • online payment data.

In the case of information entry forms displayed on the Site, personal data that must be provided in order to process your request is identified by an asterisk “*Required fields”. Failure to provide personal data identified as mandatory will result in the form in question not being validated. NUMERYX TECHNOLOGIES will therefore be unable to process your request.

Your data is collected directly during your browsing of the Site, either automatically, by means of cookies, or via information entry forms presented on the Site. Your personal data is therefore collected when you :

  • consult the different pages of the Site ;
  • when requesting documentation;
  • when you place an order;
  • contact customer service;
  • share content with someone by e-mailing them the link to the content;
  • share a review via social networks (Youtube, Twitter, Viadeo, LinkedIn, etc.).

Your data may also be collected by NUMERYX TECHNOLOGIES indirectly from our customers or partners who share your data as part of a collaboration or commercial relationship (e.g. your employer being a customer, he may send us your professional details to contact you).

NUMERYX TECHNOLOGIES may combine data from different sources for the following purposes: prospecting and management/follow-up of commercial relations.

In particular, if you accept certain cookies, your browsing data on the Site may be cross-referenced with the data you enter in the form and used by NUMERYX TECHNOLOGIES for the aforementioned purpose.

Cookies

The personal data automatically obtained when you connect to and browse the Site, in particular the IP address of your terminal, and/or via computer files stored on your terminal, commonly known as “cookies”, are used in accordance with the procedures set out in the “Cookie Management Policy”.

Social network sharing buttons

The Site uses social network sharing buttons such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Youtube, Facebook, etc., which enable the exchange of information between the Site and the sites of the social networks concerned.

As a result, the personal data of people who use the sharing buttons may be stored on the servers of the social network publishers.

NUMERYX TECHNOLOGIES is not responsible for the processing of your personal data by social networks for the purposes defined by the latter.

Data recipients

Personal data collected on the Site is reserved for the use of NUMERYX TECHNOLOGIES. It may be transmitted to subsidiaries of the NUMERYX TECHNOLOGIES Group. It may also be communicated to our service providers/suppliers involved in the management of the Site (in particular, the Site’s technical manager and host, and the provider of the audience measurement service).

They may also be communicated to :

  • our service providers/suppliers involved in Firewall license management (e.g. Asguard As service)
  • our service providers/suppliers involved in Site management (technical manager and Site host).

These third parties may only use the data within the framework of their missions entrusted to them by NUMERYX TECHNOLOGIES.

NUMERYX TECHNOLOGIES may disclose personal data to competent authorities in the context of operations aimed at combating any criminally reprehensible activity.

Shelf life

Cookies are kept for a maximum of thirteen months.

Data used for commercial prospecting, communication of requested content and assistance will be kept for the duration of the commercial relationship, and then for a period of three years from the end of the commercial relationship, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Data relating to a prospect will be kept for a period of three years from the date of collection or the last contact from the prospect (e.g. a request for documentation, a request for assistance, a telephone call to customer service, a click on a hypertext link in an e-mail sent by NUMERYX TECHNOLOGIES, a positive response to an e-mail asking whether the prospect wishes to continue to receive commercial prospecting after the three-year period has expired).

Transfer of data outside the European Union

When you contact our customer service department by telephone, chat or e-mail, your personal data collected during this call will be processed either by our parent company located in France, or by our subsidiary located outside the European Union, in Tunisia.

The transfer of data within the scope of this assistance is governed by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

You may contact NUMERYX TECHNOLOGIE’s DPO (see “DPO contact details”) if you have any questions about the guarantees associated with this transfer and the possibility of accessing the document governing it.

Exercising individual rights

Depending on the legal basis on which your data is processed, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, oppose (including the right not to be the subject of a decision based exclusively on automated processing) or, where applicable, withdraw your consent at any time, as well as the right to the limitation and portability of your personal data. You may exercise your right by contacting the Data Protection Officer of the NUMERYX TECHNOLOGIES Group (see “Contact details of the Data Protection Officer of the NUMERYX TECHNOLOGIES Group”). Your request must include your first and last name, e-mail or postal address, and be signed. In case of doubt, we may ask you to send us a copy of a valid proof of identity.
